Yusuf TAKTAK

 

Yusuf  TAKTAK was born in Bolvadin, in 1951.

Taktak graduated in 1974 from the Istanbul  State Fine Arts Akademy's Advanced Painting Department.In the same year, he continued his studies at the Salzburg Summur Academy.

He worked for a period at Mimar Sinan University, Yeditepe University and also at the Painting Sculpture Museum. Taktak, who has had numerous exclusive exhibitions, has participated in biennials, trinnials and group exhibitions in Turkey and abroad.

In 1976 he was teaching at A.coker Atelier at the Akademy of Fine Arts. Yusuf  TAKTAKis a memeber of the international Plastic Arts Society and a founding mumber of the Foundation for Istanbul Contemporary Museum of Art. He has many paintings in collections at home and abroad. He workes in his on studio in Istanbul.
